As a Ravens football player, I will, without reservation, abide by the following rules during my tenure with the Volusia County Ravens Professional Minor League Football Origination.

Expectations:

We expect you to give 110% effort all the time, whether it is practice, workouts, conditioning, or games. The TEAM will always come first.

Rules:

1.  Respect coaches and their decisions.

2.  Show good sportsmanship during practices, scheduled events, and games.

3.  No verbal abuse and/or profanity towards the management, coaching staff or players will be tolerated.

4.  Player positions will not be discussed during games on the sideline.

5.  Drugs and alcohol use will not be tolerated at practice or games and will be an automatic suspension.

6.  Treat others, as you want to be treated at all times.

7.  Players must be at all practices and games unless excused by positional coach.

8.  You need to notify your position coach that you will miss a game or practice for it to be excused.

9.  No player should approach coaches before, during, or after a game or practice to discuss an issue.

10. Meetings with the Coaching Staff will be scheduled during the week to discuss issue(s).

11. These meetings will take place before or after practice if another day cannot be arranged.

Playing Time:

The amount of playing time a player receives is the coaches’ decision and is based upon fair evaluation of, but not limited to, the players skills, work ethic, attendance at practice, attendance during off season, performance in games and most important the player attitude.

Social Activity:

Team members are reminded that when participating in team social activities they are representing the Volusia County Ravens  Professional Minor League Football Origination. Behavior deemed to be unacceptable by; either the League or Management may result in disciplinary action taken against individuals or the team as a whole. Players must not use team apparel in a social environment unless previously agreed upon by the Administration Staff.

Consequences:

Failure to abide by these rules can and will result in extra conditioning, team fine, loss of playing time, game suspensions and/or being dismissed from the team WITHOUT being reimbursed for any team fees paid.

I have read and understand the above rules and policies and realize that failure to adhere to these rules will result in disciplinary action and possible suspension or dismissal from the team. There are no refunds of participation fees.
